Full-time - Exempt

Property & Casualty License Required – All others need not apply

The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing a diverse book of business. The Account Management role is essential as he/she develops and maintains a relationship with our clients and provides the first line of excellent customer service.

Duties include but are not limited to endorsements, answering underwriting requests, rounding out and up-selling accounts, renewing policies including surplus lines, renewal proposals, answering billing questions, and processing cancellations/reinstatements; all while maintaining an upbeat attitude for a positive work environment. The Personal Lines Account Manager will be responsible for new sales and have attainable goals and bonuses based on new business written from referrals and call in prospects.

Requirements - applicants must:
  • Have a valid Virginia Property & Casualty license and have at least three years of Personal Lines Account Management or sales experience
  • Be ethical, professional, intelligent, personable, highly motivated, energetic, and responsible
Possess the following skills:
  • Critical thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Organization
  • Have strong computer proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and management systems
Our preferred candidate will have:
  • Knowledge of Applied/EPIC

The role is essential as he/she develops and maintains the relationship with our clients and provides the first line of excellent customer service. The C The Spainish Speaking Account Support Specialist for Small Business also works closely with the Producers, Account Support Specialists and Underwriters so the candidate must be a team player.

Duties include but are not limited to endorsements, answering underwriting requests, rounding out and up-selling accounts, renewing policies including surplus lines, renewal proposals, answering billing questions, audit disputes, and processing cancellations/reinstatements; all while maintaining an upbeat attitude for a positive work environment.

Requirements - applicants must:
  • Speak Spanish
  • Have a valid Virginia Property & Casualty license and have at least three years of experience
  • Be ethical, professional, intelligent, personable, highly motivated, energetic, and responsible.
